DeKalb Arrests Atlanta Murder Suspect

Juan Carlos Moulier, Jr. is accused of shooting and killing an Atlanta man during an armed robbery attempt.

DECATUR, GA -- DeKalb County authorities have arrested an Atlanta man wanted for murder in the shooting death of a victim during a robbery attempt.

The fugitive unit of the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office arrested Juan Carlos Moulier, Jr., 25, of Atlanta on Wednesday.

The roadside arrest happened without incident on the access road of Northeast Expressway, the sheriff's office said in a news release.

Moulier was wanted in the Monday shooting death of Tommy Jackson in Atlanta.

Jackson was shot and killed during an attempt to take money from him.

Moulier is charged with felony murder and felony armed robbery. He was being held Wednesday in DeKalb County Jail.
