DeKalb Co Animal Shelter is Still Open and Offering $20 Adoptions
Meet Petal who is trained and great with kids, Tazzy who is affectionate, fun and goofy and Tyke who is loving, calm and enjoys his toys!
LifeLine's DeKalb County Animal Services shelter is still open by appointment, and we have plenty of pets available at the shelter and in foster care! And through the end of April, you can adopt a pet for only $20, including their spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations! Below are a few of the wonderful pets you can adopt today!
Petal is a two-year-old little lady who is adorable! She has been doing wonderfully in a foster home, and her foster parents say that she is:
- Gentle, calm and great around kids,
- Crate and potty trained,
- Obedient and knows sit, down and shake,
- Great on the leash,
- And loves toys!

Snazzy Tazzy is a cute one-year-old boy who loves running zoomies around the yard! Sweet and playful, he is also the world's goofiest boy and keeps his foster parents laughing. Tyke is an adorable calm boy who is amazingly sweet and affectionate. Tyke loves to play with toys and can keep himself entertained with them for hours. He also has great manners, knows how to sit and is very easy to walk. If you’re looking for a chilled-out, super affectionate boy, Tyke is your guy!
