DeKalb County Celebrates National Government Month

DeKalb County is kicking off April with interesting events to raise community awareness of the responsibilities of county government.

Interim CEO Lee May announces DeKalb County will join the National Association of Counties (NACo), along with other counties across America, in celebrating National County Government Month (NCGM) this April. The celebration is designed to increase understanding and appreciation for the importance of county government. The county’s annual ”Pothole Palooza” will kick off the month of events. ”Pothole Palooza” kicks off April 1, 2015 at 9:30 A.M. on the intersection of Memorial Drive and Carter Road in Decatur, GA.
