DeKalb, Decatur Schools Make Calls On Friday Classes
Both systems had been closed on Tuesday and Wednesday due to ice and snow from this week's winter storm.

DECATUR, GA — DeKalb County schools will be closed for the third day in a row on Friday, while city schools in Decatur will be opening two hours later than usual.
In a social media post, DeKalb Schools said that students will be off Friday, but 12-month employees should report two hours later than they usually do — if road conditions allow.
City Schools of Decatur, meanwhile, will start on a two-hour delay. Buses will be running two hours behind their usual schedule in the morning and classes will start two hours later than normal.

Dismissal times, however, will be normal for Decatur schools.
All DCSD schools are closed tomorrow, Friday, January 19, 2018 for students. 12-month employees should report with a 2-hour delay as road and travel conditions allow.
