DeKalb Government Building Evacuated
BREAKING: An "unknown odor" led to the evacuation Friday morning, with some reports saying it may be a freon leak.

DECATUR, GA — Emergency crews were on hand Monday morning at a DeKalb County government building that was evacuated after what was described as an "unknown odor in the air."
According to DeKalb County Fire and Rescue, the DeKalb County Public Safety Building, at 3630 Camp Cir., was being evacuated shortly after 10 a.m. Monday. Firefighter were performing air monitoring and there were no injuries being immediately reported.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution was quoting a police source saying that the issue was possibly a freon leak. In a social media post, DeKalb fire and rescue said that no cause had been determined Monday morning, but that air monitoring had sensed no danger.
