A DeKalb County man at wit’s end with his suddenly silent wife did what any sensible but desperate husband would do - he called 911.

The Dunwoody man must have felt as though his wife not talking to him on Tuesday was an emergency and decided to see if the county’s public safety personnel could do anything to end the impasse. The dispatcher did not send any first responders to the man’s home, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said.

Neither the man’s identity nor his address were released by officials.
