DeKalb Man Wanted For Shooting, Causing Deadly Crash
Police say the man shot at someone who was driving his car and that the car then crashed into a tree.

DECATUR, GA — A DeKalb County man is wanted after police say he shot a man who was driving his car who then crashed into a tree and was killed.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Van Johnson, 46, is wanted on charges of murder and aggravated assault after the shooting Monday night in the 5000 block of Covington Highway.
According to police, Johnson's car had not been reported stolen. Police were not sure whether he and the driver knew each other, but say the driver was killed instantly when the car struck a tree.

Police describe Johnson as being 6-1 and weighing 235 pounds. They say he may have been injured in the incident and may be seeking medical attention.
