DeKalb Police Locate, Charge Suspect Who Shot At Officers
DeKalb County Police have located and charged the person who shot at police officers at a home near Lithonia High School Thursday night.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA – DeKalb County Police have located and charged the person who shot at police officers at a home near Lithonia High School Thursday night.
Quartez Rodgers, 27, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
Police responded to a call reporting shots fired around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night at a home near Lithonia High School. When officers arrived, the suspect fired shots at officers and officers returned fire, according to the post on the DeKalb County Police Department Facebook page.

None of the officers were injured.
According to police, the suspect then fled the scene. Thanks to a description from a caller, police were able to identify and locate Rodgers.
