DeKalb Townhomes Go Up in Flames

Several townhomes in DeKalb County were destroyed by a severe fire on Monday afternoon.

According to WSB-TV, the blaze began on Shellbark road at approximately 2 p.m. and involved eight townhomes. DeKalb County Fire Rescue dispatched 10 trucks to battle the fire at Snapfinger Manor. Nobody was hurt during the incident.

Fire officials tell WSB-TV that the cause of the fire is being investigation, but a witness told the station that an outdoor grill is to blame.
