Join organic mom Minde Herbert of www.affordablyorganic.com as she busts the "not on my budget" myth by sharing her experiences as the savvy-shopping, creative-cooking parent of well-fed twins. In 2006, Minde jumped off the corporate track to raise her children, just before the bottom fell out of her husband’s real estate business. A long-time organic food lover, Minde refused to forgo healthy, whole foods for her family, so she developed and honed methods to maintain an organic diet with limited funds. In this session Minde will share her secrets for meal planning; sourcing out and eating seasonal food; pantry must-haves; coupon hunting; budget tips; and identifying good (and bad) grocery deals. Additionally, she will share easy, high-nutrition, low-cost, family-friendly recipes.
