Decatur local and first-time novelist Stacia Brown, makes her first appearance at the Georgia Center for the Book for her thrilling historical novel, “Accidents of Providence.” Set in 1649 amidst the turmoil following King Charles’ beheading, Rachel Lockyer, an unmarried glove maker, and Leveller William Walwyn are involved in a secret affair and when a new law is instituted under Cromwell they find themselves in trouble.
