February's topic: "Feminism in the Garden - Encouraging Bees, and their Impact on the Environment."
Presenter Beth Longhorst, who began keeping bees two years ago, will help participants discover the secrets of the epitome of female rulers, the Queen Bee. Beth will tell the group how to easily create a welcoming place for her kingdom of ladies in waiting. Bees are disappearing and it is important to learn how to encourage them in gardens for their pollination benefits. You will never look at bees the same again after this eye-opening lecture.
