Come to the library for the launch party of Decatur author Josh Russell's new novel, A True History of the Captivation, Transport to Strange Lands, and Deliverance of Hannah Guttentag.
Russell’s most recent novel, My Bright Midnight, was a nominee for the Townsend Award in Fiction and won an Independent Publisher Book Award bronze medal in literary fiction. His first novel was Yellow Jack, a finalist for the Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Award. He is an associate professor at Georgia State University, where he teaches creative writing and serves as co-director of the Creative Writing Program.
