Sit back and enjoy the beautiful music of the Decatur Civic Chorus at its 6th annual Spring Concert at the First Baptist Church of Decatur. The chorus will perform selections from the Broadway hit show, “Les Miserables,” Requiem by Gabriel Faure and a salute to the U.S.A.
The Decatur Civic Chorus - one of the South’s longest continuing choral groups -has been performing for 64 years and has entertained audiences worldwide – from Europe to Mexico to New York City’s Carnegie Hall.
The chorus is a non-profit organization. All concerts are open and free to the public. The chorus depends on contributions from sponsors, patrons and members of the audiences to help fund the costs associated with its concerts
