The 2011 Decatur Tour of Homes features seven homes in the Winona Park and Glenwood Estates neighborhoods. Points of interest include the new 4th/5th Academy, the historic chapel at Decatur First United Methodist Church, the Julia Thompson Smith Chapel at Agnes Scott College and the Clairemont Holiday Marketplace.This year's homes are an eclectic mix reflecting the history and character of the owners and these neighborhoods. One home was even featured on HGTV's Groundbreaker program.Proceeds from the tour will benefit four Decatur nonprofit organizations: the Decatur Youth Fund, the Decatur Education Fund, the DeKalb History Center, and the Oakhurst Community Garden Project.Tickets may be purchased online or in person at Bicycle South, Intown Ace Hardware, The Seventeen Steps, or The Oakhurst Market.
