Anyone interested in learning how to implement farm to school activities in their schools and communities is invited to the first Farm to School Symposium Aug. 25 at the Wylde Center in Decatur.
Teachers, educators, parents, businesses, farmers and community members can learn all things farm to school, share ideas and success stories and network with others to enhance future collaborations.
The symposium will be held at the Oakhurst Church from 9am-4pm. A mixer will follow at the Wylde Center with food/drinks, music, and raffle prizes, all in the picturesque backdrop of the Wylde Center gardens!
