Habitat for Humanity International, Random House Books for Young Readers, and Little Shop of Stories host a special reading of "The Carpenter's Gift: A Christmas Tale About The Rockefeller Center"

Habitat for Humanity International, Random House Books for Young Readers, and Little Shop of Stories will host a special holiday reading of "The Carpenter's Gift: A Christmas Tale About The Rockefeller Center Tree" on Dec. 4 at 3 p.m.
The recently-released children's picture book is inspired by the real-life donation of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree each year to Habitat for Humanity, which then mills the tree into lumber it uses to help build affordable homes.
The reading will be conducted by Natalie Bernstein, librarian at the Paideia School in Druid Hills. The media and the public are invited to attend. Children in attendance will receive a Blue Spruce Christmas tree sapling to take home.
