Based in Atlanta, GA, JOYSCOUT is a collective of musicians focused around Emily Kate Boyd, Nicki Thrailkill & Jesse Tyler. As songwriters and seasoned live performers, JoyScout invents an eclectic identity through their exploration of folk, rock and alternative country. AsMusicManiax.com explains, "Soulful, sultry, hopeful, and honest, JoyScout shines on stage – singing something for everyone." Often performing as an acoustic trio, supporting musicians rotate in and out of JoysScout’s lineup, contributing such diverse sounds as lap steel, upright bass and cello. They have performed with Clay Cook, Gareth Asher, and Dayna Kurtz and are currently celebrating their debut full-length album, Vampires at Sea, with producer, Will Robertson.
