Learning to Write the Young Adult Novel

"Writing the Young Adult (YA) Novel," will be held on four consecutive Wednesday evenings, in which participants will learn, create, draft and revise their own YA novel (or at least a few chapters of one) while receiving hands-on instruction on characters, pacing and style.  Participants will wind up with a much better understanding of YA,  and of writing and publication in general.

The teacher is Atlanta's own Jackson Pearce whose first novel, As You Wish, was published in 2009, and her other books include the bestsellers Sisters Red and Purity.  She is widely respected not only as a splendid novelist but as a knowledgeable and effective teacher.

Course Requirements: These classes are being offered free and open to the public, but registration for the classes is required, and a commitment to attend all of the classes is necessary. The class size is limited to 25, and is open to individuals 15 and older.
