Micah Dalton's Blue Frontier Solo Acoustic CD Release w/ Emily Hearn - Live at Eddie's Attic!
ATL Collective co-founder and singer-songwriter, MICAH DALTON’s, latest record, "Blue Frontier," is an entirely fan-funded project that’s a call back to 70s classic soul music. Produced by Nashville’s Stephen Gause and featuring Atlanta friends, Robby Handley and Andy Lee in the rhythm section, the record takes a different path from his usual R&B-fused country style. With all of his previous recordings, particularly "Pawn Shop" and "Gathered 'Round the Greasefire," the songs on "Blue Frontier" are quite diverse and as Dalton puts it, he’s “departed from more personal themes to more expansive, universal ones. I believe these songs have a lot of entry points. It’s more “one-size-fits-all” than my previous projects.” All-in-all, the album has spent five years in the making. Throughout the process, he’s been listed in publications like Southern Living, Paste, and Obscure Sound, and has been a featured performer at Ath Fest and SXSW. You’ve might’ve also seen him on stage with a wide of scope of artists, like Dave Barnes, Gym Class Heroes, and Jon Mclaughlin.
