The Museum School, the first public charter museum school in the State of Georgia, is excited to host their third annual “Family Fun Fitness Day” in Decatur on Saturday, March 23.
Open to the public and free to attend, the event in partnership with the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Museum School, 923 Forrest Boulevard, Decatur, Georgia 30030.
The day will be packed with fun, interactive activities, exercise opportunities, celebrity appearances, health information and giveaways including the opportunity to win a YMCA membership valued at $685 or private coaching service with Parent Coach Atlanta valued at $200, and more. Refreshments, healthy snacks and event activity tickets will be sold at the event. The event is expected to draw more than the 500 who attended last year. Proceeds will benefit The Museum School PTO and the school’s Playground Project.

- Fitness drills and relays for the entire family

- Tasty Food Sampling Stations
- CJ the Workout Kid workout demonstration and autographs

- Healthy Food Trucks including King of Pops and Healthy Nut Food Truck
- Spin-Fit giveaways and demonstrations
- Children’s Healthcare Strong4Life
- Free health screenings for memory, blood pressure, glucose and body mass index
- Atlanta Silverbacks Mascot
