If adding children to your heart is on your mind, taking time to reflect upon what parenting means to you is an important gift to your child, yourself, and your spouse or partner.
As a participant in Preparing to Parent: A Workshop for Adults Contemplating Childrearing, you will explore your
- current stage of adult development
- family of origin
- expectations about parenting; and,
- temperament.
You will learn how these aspects of your life and your spouse's or partner's life can shape your parenting -- as well as your adult relationship -- once you become parents.
