SkaterAid

SkaterAid is a music festival, art auction and skateboarding event whose mission is to support families dealing with pediatric cancer.

SkaterAid’s 2011 headliner band is local favorite Lucy Dreams. Several members of this five-piece phenomenon are former Decatur High students who got their start performing on the SkaterAid stage.

The lineup also includes three exceptional high school bands: Already Taken, Swamp, and Social Cellar.

Skateboarding contests and demos will be sponsored by Stratosphere skateshop. Bring your board and skate all day on the SkaterAid ramps.

SkaterAid's amazing art deck auction returns! All art will be on display beginning August 28th in Decatur's famous Brick Store Pub. The online portion of the auction is now live, check it out at here.

Final bidding will take place September 25th at the SkaterAid event.

All proceeds from SkaterAid benefit the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children.
