“Stories on the Square” is a monthly personal open mic storytelling performance. All who wish to share a personal tale, without notes, as time allows, are welcome. The rules are simple. No notes, singing, music, poems or fiction. No political or ex-lover rants. No stand-up comedy routines are allowed. The stories must be true, and you have a 7-minute time limit. There is no required theme for the show (but one is suggested). The suggested theme for August 21, 2012 is “mind your own business.” After the July performance, Stories on the Square received a wonderful compliment: “You create such a warm, accepting, generous space and I had a blast! It was so great to listen to so many wonderful stories and - best of all - feel connected to so many folks through story.” Come and tell us your best story. We know you have one!
