The Dog & Cat Show

Eyesection Art and Friends of DeKalb Animals (FODA) will present "The Dog & Cat Show," canine and feline art, opening Saturday, November 5th at Sycamore Place Gallery.  Paintings, prints, photographs and sculpture will be on display.  Enjoy live music, prizes, and a silent auction to benefit FODA, a nonprofit animal rescue group.

Featuring work by DeKalb artists Ben Harubin, Nick Anvil, Dana Ross and Nina Talon and also featuring Blue, the Labrador photographer.  Meet all the artists at the opening.

Friends of DeKalb Animals is a 501(c)3 non-profit group created by the volunteers of Animal Action Rescue, Inc. with the goal to save the lives of at least 50 animals from DeKalb County Animal Services & Enforcement every month.  This facility is the county’s animal control facility and as such is not a no-kill facility.  No matter how hard the shelter personnel works, there is no way they can overcome the huge number of unwanted animals that come through their doors every day.
