Wine 101 at Sherlock's Wine Merchant

The Atlanta Community Food Bank's Simple Abundance Cooking Class is proud to announce the first ever wine class! Senior Wine Educator Don Hackett of Sherlock's Wine Merchant will teach participants everything they need to know about the fundamentals of wine and winetasting. The class will incude a brief overview of winemaking and major growing regions, and give attendees the basic tools to taste and evaluate wine, focusing on identifying aromas and majore elements. The evening includes wine tastings sponsored by Sherlock's Wine Merchant and a chance to win tasty door prizes provided by Bella Cucina Artful Foods and Cabot Cheese.
