Winter Warmups with Roots and Soups

When you’re looking for healthy comfort foods that can get you from fall to spring, it often comes down to soup! Join us as we turn our attention to the garden’s fall and winter crops. Atlanta-based personal chef Tony Carollo will share some of the fundamentals of building deep flavor and intriguing textures into hearty soups that will brighten up your dinner table during the cold months. Come explore the astonishing potential of root vegetables in soups from providing back notes of flavor to being the star of the bowl. Tony specializes in building complex flavors out of simple, wholesome ingredients. Participants will cook and sample a variety of soups, leaving with recipes to adapt and enjoy all winter long.
