🌱 Ex-Coffee Shop Employee Convicted Of Arson + Open Job Positions

  1. Jobs are available now in the Decatur-Avondale Estates area. Open positions include client service representative, call center manager (remote), executive care specialist, account coordinator, elevator concierge, packaging manager, and more. (Decatur-Avondale Estates Patch)
  2. A fired, ex-employee has been convicted of burning down Java Monkey Coffee Shop and Wine Bar in downtown Decatur on Nov. 11, 2018. Ricky Williams, 32, was found guilty on charges of first-degree arson, second-degree arson, second-degree criminal damage to property, and second-degree burglary. Williams faces a 30-year sentence with 10 in custody and the rest on probation. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  3. Decatur County Sheriff Wiley Griffin, along with 101 other Georgia sheriffs, has condemned Stacey Abrams' recent role in the Defund the Police movement. The group of Georgia sheriffs filed a joint statement condemning Abrams' role in advancing the movement as well as her support of soft-on-crime policies that they say put Georgia families at risk.
