New Farmers Market Common Roots Will Offer Wild Game, Seafood, More: Decatur

DECATUR — A new farmers market is opening in early 2022, according to a news release. Common Roots Farmers Market will offer grab-n-go meals, premium meats, wild game, fresh seafood and more.

The market, located at 3409 Covington Hwy., will also offer local products, organic items and low-priced produce. Common Roots will be open daily, and feature a huge outdoor space for guests. Market events will be hosted throughout the year with local bands, holiday fun and DIY demonstrations.

Common Roots is founded by fifth generation produce operator and Brookhaven resident, Brock Nix.

“A passionate team, a sense of community and locally-sourced products are the roots of a true neighborhood market," said Nix in a statement. “We look forward to getting to know our guests while creating memories and holiday traditions at Common Roots.”
