Foods Recommendation for the Fall
Foods Recommendation for the Fall

The dry air in the fall often leads to sore throat, cough, and itchy skin. I recommend eating these foods to alleviate the symptoms.

1. Pear: clears cough and mucus in throat.

How to eat: Add 1 tbsp. rock sugar and cook the pear for 15 min. Eat one pear every morning.
2. Sesame seed powder: relieves constipation and dry skin.
How to eat: roast sesame seed at low temperature for 30 min, and grind into powder. Take 2 tbsp. every morning.
3. Lotus root: contains calcium, phosphorus, iron and is rich in vitamin C, good for sore throat and dry mouth.
How to eat: Fresh lotus root juice, sip throughout the day.
4. Dry lily bulb: nourishes the skin, relieves cough, and helps sleep.
How to eat: cook lily bulb with water for 20 min, and drink the tea as a beverage throughout the day.
