Former DeKalb Commissioner Sentenced For Extortion: Report
Sharon Barnes Sutton was sentenced Tuesday to probation and a fine, a report says.
ATLANTA, GA — A former DeKalb County commissioner convicted of extortion was sentenced Tuesday to three years probation and a $3,200 fine, Channel 2 Action News reported.
According to the outlet, Sharon Barnes Sutton must spend the first nine months of her probation in home confinement.
She was convicted of two counts of extortion, the outlet reported.
