Four Shot in DeKalb Home Invasion

Several gunmen forced their way into the unincorporated Decatur home early Thursday morning.

Decatur, GA -- Four people were shot inside a DeKalb County townhome early Thursday morning during a home invasion.

The shooting happened around 2 am at a home on Terrace Trail, according Fox 5 Atlanta.

At least three people were sleeping inside when four to five home invaders forced their way into the home. Two adults inside the home were shot, along with two of the robbers. All four are at a local hospital, but Channel 2 Action News is reporting that one of them is in serious condition.

Some of the home invaders escaped, and police are searching for clues to their identity.

A teenager who was inside the home was not injured. Another person suffered lacerations after jumping through a window, according to 11Alive.

Police also don't know why the home was targeted.

Terrace Trail is located off Snapfinger Woods Drive in unincorporated Decatur.
