Gin Blossoms Highlight Chamblee Summer Concerts

CHAMBLEE, GA β A night of rockin' like it's the '90s will highlight this year's Summer Concert Series in Chamblee. The Gin Blossoms will headline the series on Aug. 10, with opening act The Rembrandts.
The concert series starts May 4 and also includes dates on June 1 and July 4 in downtown Chamblee.
Gin Blossoms rocketed to stardom in the early '90s on the strength of the single "Hey, Jealousy," from their 1992 debut album "New Miserable Experience." The single reached No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became an MTV staple.

The group scored foll0w-up hits with "Found Out About You," "Allison Road," "'Til I Hear It From You" and "Follow You Down." They would break up in 1997 and reform in 2002.
The Rembrandts are best known for their song "Iβll Be There for You," the theme song from smash-hit '90s sitcom "Friends."

- May 4: Latin Music Night featuring Willie Ziaviano & the C.O.T. Band, Rezur and Diana Mar
- June 1: Departure β The Journey Tribute Band
- July 4: Bogey and the Viceroy
