Gunman At Large In Gas Station Slaying: Reports

A 32-year-old man died in a Tuesday night shootout in DeKalb County, say media reports.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — DeKalb County police are searching for the individual who shot a man to death Tuesday night at a local gas station, according to media reports. Officers responded at about 9 p.m. to reports of a shooting at a Chevron station in the 4700 block of Rodan Road, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

When they arrived, they found the victim, identified as Lawrence Allison, 32, dead at the scene, say media reports.

A DeKalb police spokesman said that an argument between the shooting victim and the gunman in the station's parking lot had escalated into a physical confrontation, and then a gunfight, the AJC reported.
