Gusto! Restaurant To Open In Decatur In Fall

DECATUR, GA — Fast-casual restaurant Gusto! will be opening a Decatur location this fall, its owners have announced.

Restaurant founder Nate Hybl announced the restaurant will be in the new North Decatur Square shopping center, across from DeKalb Medical Center at the corner of Church Street and North Decatur Road.

The restaurant, which serves up fresh bowls and wraps among its offerings, is expected to open in late September. Gusto! already has locations in Buckhead and Virginia-Highland, with a Midtown location also set to open this fall.

"One of the main reasons we selected this location is its proximity to DeKalb Medical," Hybl said in a news release. "We have been very fortunate to serve many Piedmont Hospital and Shepherd Center staff members and patients with our Peachtree location and are looking forward to providing a fast and better-for-you dining option for the neighboring medical community in Decatur."

Hybl also is rolling out "Medical Monday" at the new Decatur restaurant. Every week, those who work in the medical field can show their badges to receive "buy one, get one free" meals on Monday.

The 2,400-square foot Decatur restaurant will feature custom wood booths and tabletops along with a wood feature wall illuminated by inspirational signage. Chairs and stools from Grand Rapids Chair Co. will be custom-coated in Gusto! gold, the company said.

"We want to create a space that is as much of a draw as the food – carefully crafted and detail-focused in a way that becomes a part of guests’ daily lives," said designer Lindsay Denman in the release.

The menu at Gusto! features all-natural, antibiotic-free chicken and, whenever possible, local and organic ingredients, the company said.
