Highland Bakery Decatur Location Could Open Next Month

Highland Bakery could open its new Decatur location as soon as mid-August.

Mike Lassiter who, according to Tomorrow's News Today, handles franchising for the company, said the long-delayed Decatur location will be owned by a franchisee.

Highland Bakery in Decatur will be located at 315 W. Ponce de Leon Avenue.

Highland Bakery is also coming to downtown Atlanta near Woodruff Park and on the Georgia State University campus. That location will feature 3,500 square feet.

The original Highland Bakery opened in 2004 in the Old Fourth Ward. It now has locations at Emory, Georgia Tech, Buckhead and Midtown.
