Highland Bakery in Decatur Opens Monday

DECATUR, GA — Highland Bakery is opening in Decatur on Monday.

The store is located in the Place on Ponce building at 315 West Ponce, according to Decatur Metro.

Decatur has seen several new restaurants and eateries either opening in the city or planned. Jimmy John's is expected to open at a long vacant old Chevron station by Thanksgiving, while a new Sprouts market will open in first quarter 2017.

At the same time, Seven Hens closed last week, with plans for the spot to become a Korean street food retailer.
