HomeGoods Opening Soon in Decatur

The store is part of the ongoing Suburban Plaza development.

DECATUR, GA -- HomeGoods, the discount home decor retailer coming to the Suburban Plaza development, will open on Sunday, March 13.

The new location, at North Decatur Road and Church Street, will be the 14th HomeGoods store in metro Atlanta.

The store will open its doors at 8 a.m.

“Our shopping experience is unlike any other retailer; our amazing values, designer brands and unique assortment make HomeGoods an exciting destination for shoppers,” John Ricciuti, president of HomeGoods, said in a news release. “Our stores help make houses feel like home.”

The new Decatur store is expected to hire about 65 full and part-time employees.

HomeGoods merchandise departments include furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, gourmet kitchen and dining, bedding, bath, kid’s décor and toys, outdoor living, pet accessories, storage, workspace and more.

Regular hours at the store will be Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The ongoing Suburban Plaza development, anchored by a new Walmart, is bringing a host of new retailers to the area just north of Decatur city limits.

LA Fitness has already opened, with Starbucks, JoAnn Fabrics, Ross Dress For Less, Half Price Books and Louisiana Bistreaux Cajun Restaurant among the businesses under construction.
