Hotel Equities Promotes Foster White to Assistant GM for the Residence Inn Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody

Dunwoody-based Hotel Equities recently promoted Foster White to serve as the Assistant General Manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody in the heart of Atlanta’s Perimeter Center. He reports to General Manager Joe Fallis and has responsibility to assist with the oversight of the hotel’s operations including food & beverage, sales & marketing and revenue management strategies.

“Foster brings a passion for hospitality and experience in managing both finances and staffing for the hotel,” said GM Joe Fallis. “His knowledge of the local market makes him a great fit for our one-of-a-kind new Residence Inn.”

Mr. White came to his new position from the Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody, a hotel he helped to open in 2016. He served as the Front Desk Manager and helped the hotel achieve 100 percent market share within 45 days of opening.

A graduate of the Hotel Equities Manager in Training program, Mr. White spent time at several of the firm’s top branded hotels under the supervision of the firm’s award-winning managers. He gained valuable experience by completing tasks and studies in all front and back of the house areas of the hotel. Additionally, he worked in a task force role to fully understand the opening/transition process of a new hotel joining the firm’s portfolio.

In two summer internship programs with Hotel Equities, Mr. White served as the Business Development Coordinator. During that time, he conducted financial analysis and compiled hotel investment projections for presentation to potential investors.

Mr. White holds a B.S. degree in Corporate Finance with a minor in Accounting from Clemson University. He lives in metro Atlanta with his wife Natalie.
