Join DeKalb Police Tuesday For National Night Out
The DeKalb County Police department is organizing events across DeKalb County to promote police-community partnerships.
DEKALB COUNTY — DeKalb County residents can participate Tuesday in National Night Out, an annual event to create awareness about police programs. The DeKalb County Police department will kick off the celebration at 4 p.m. in several locations, with most ending at 8 p.m.
The annual community-building campaign aims to promote police-community partnerships and takes place across the country on the first Tuesday in October. Residents are also asked to turn on their front porch lights as a sign of unity.
