Join the Oakhurst Community Choir!
It's time to sign up for the Fall Session of the Oakhurst Community Choir - a friendly, relaxed, non-audition choral experience!
COME SING WITH THE OAKHURST COMMUNITY CHOIR!
The Oakhurst Community Choir is getting ready for our 2017 autumn session and we would love for you to come join in the all the choral fun!
The OCC is a friendly, non-audition community choir established in 2013. Our goal is to bring together members of our community to share in the joy of communal singing in a fun, informal and low commitment setting. We welcome singers of all experience levels and the choir is open to teens and adults, as well as pre-teens accompanied by an older family member. In addition to individuals from all over Decatur and Atlanta who come together for our weekly rehearsals, our choir is a great activity for families. The OCC includes singing spouses, parent & adult-child combos, father-daughter duos and siblings. (Our merry band of tenors and basses is also always excited to welcome new gentlemen to the mix!)

Our weekly rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm at the Solarium at 321 West Hill Street in Oakhurst, with our first rehearsal kicking off on Aug. 30th! The fall session focuses on holiday music and culminates with several optional community performances in December.
Membership for the session costs $60, which includes the cost of sheet music.

To register or for further information, please contact Alice Reeves, our Executive Director, at OakhurstCC@gmail.com. Choir members who sign up by July 31st will have their music ordered for them through the choir. After that, singers will be responsible for ordering their own music (membership fee will be reduced accordingly).
