Kevin Gillespie's Communion Reopening Saturday In Decatur

DECATUR, GA. -- Just in time for football season, Kevin Gillespie's beer garden Communion is opening on Saturday. The backyard bar plans to be open on Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 25. Gillespie closed the bar last year due to unpredictable weather and an increased demand for private events.

Gillespie's menu will include wings, chicken tenders, french fries with craft beer and cocktails.

Customers, first-come, first-served, can purchase food and beverages from a truck parked in the yard.

“We want Communion to be that go-to gathering spot for catching up over a beer and a casual meal or enjoying a good football game,” Gillespie said, according to Eater Atlanta.
