Kroger Seeks to "Can Hunger"
Beginning this weekend, the grocery chain is spearheading a drive for donation to the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Feeding America.
Beginning Sunday, Nov. 15, Kroger will be launching a donation drive to the Atlanta Community Food Bank and other Feeding America Food Banks.
According to the Brookhaven Post, through Dec. 24, customers can purchase $1, $3 or $5 icons to provide food for families in need. All donations collected in the Atlanta area will benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
Federal statistics show about 50 million Americans faced hardships in trouble providing food for their households in 2014.
