Labor Day 2018: What's Open, Closed In DeKalb County
Here's a look at what public institutions, banks, stores and others are doing on Monday.

DECATUR, GA — For many of us, Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer. The kids are back in school, football is back on the television and, if we get lucky, a cool breeze here and there suggests that autumn truly is on its way.
This year, Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 3. Because Labor Day is a federal holiday, it means a day off of work for a lot of people and no school for children. As such, many government and other services will be shut down for the day.
