Lane Closures: Buford Highway Emergency Sewer Line Replacement Project
Beginning Monday, crews will work on the emergency sewer line along Buford Highway.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — The Buford Highway emergency sewer line replacement project began Monday.
Crews will replace 60 linear feet of failing sewer line with new 8-inch ductile-iron pipe along Buford Highway, according to a news release. Normal construction hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. An increase in construction-related noise and traffic during work hours should be expected.
Motorists should expect delays stemming from the lane closure. Lane closure signs and traffic flaggers will assist motorists in moving safely around the lane closure. Construction crews will work to minimize the length of impact to drivers, the County said.
