Lanes Closing Overnight on I-285 For Striping

Several lanes on I-285’s east side will be closed overnight on Wednesday and Thursday as Georgia DOT crews re-stripe the lanes.

Up to three northbound and three southbound lanes will close between the I-20 interchange and Chamblee Tucker Road from 9 pm to 5 am, both nights.

The DOT says the lane closures are likely to result in delays. Motorists who travel in the area are advised to slow down and proceed with caution through this area. Workers and heavy equipment will be in close proximity to the roadway.
