The Georgia General Assembly passed incorporation bills for both proposed DeKalb County cities during the waning hours of their 2015 session on Thursday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. The Decatur City Commission will use the remainder of 2015 to decide whether it wishes to pursue annexation in 2016, Mayor Jim Baskett said Thursday.
