LifeLine Animal Project Clearing the DeKalb County Shelter with Fee-Waived Adoptions throughout June!

LifeLine Animal Project invites everyone to help “Clear the DeKalb Shelter” with fee-waived adoptions on ALL dogs, cats, puppies and kittens at DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS) throughout June! Loving homes are needed for nearly 500 animals before the shelter relocates to a brand new facility in mid-July. All fee-waived adoptions include the pet’s spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip – a $200 value for no fee! The shelter will also have prize giveaways for adopters all month and a Mega Adoption Event on June 17, featuring music, food, kids activities, prizes and more! The shelter is located at 845 Camp Road in Decatur.

LifeLine’s DeKalb County Animal Services Pets of the Week: Rita, Juda and Marie

Our first Pet of the Week is beautiful lady named Marie. This stunning girl turns heads wherever she goes, and she is calm, cool, and collected. She would probably do best as an only child or with a dog who has calm energy like hers, so feel free to bring yours when you come meet her.

Our next Pet the Week is Juda, a handsome two-year-old boy who adores people. Juda has great manners and is very well-behaved. He loves to hang out with people and would be a great dog to take with you on all of your adventures. Juda also gets along great with other dogs.

Our third Pet of the Week is very gentle girl who is ready to join your family. Meet Rita, a three-year-old sweetheart who gets along great with other dogs and will fit right into any home. Rita is a very calm gal who does well with everyone she meets, and would make a great family pet.
