LifeLine Animal Project Holding Mega Adoption Event on June 17 to "Clear the DeKalb Shelter!"

LifeLine Animal Project will be holding a Mega Adoption Event in less than a week to help Clear the DeKalb Shelter! The event will take place on June 17, 11 am – 6 pm, at DeKalb County Animal Services, 845 Camp Road in Decatur.

Join us for fun, music, kids’ activities, prizes, food and fee-waived adoptions! What will be going on at the event?

• Infamous DJ Romeo Cologne will be spinning tunes all day.
• Frogs to Dog Trainers will be on site to answer all your training questions.
• Activities for Kids: Make a leash for your dog, or make a no-sew cat bed.
• Yummy Food:
  • Smoking Mo’s BBQ Food Truck, 11am – 3pm
  • Hole in the Wall Food Truck, 3pm – 6pm
  • King of Pops

• Canine Kissing Booth: Get a smooch from a wonderful pooch!
• Photo Booth by Smilebooth: Have pictures taken with your awesome new family member!
• Raffles: All adopters will be entered to win t-shirts, gift baskets and gift certificates, including a night at Hotel Indigo in Midtown with your dog!

Our first Pet of the Week will win you over immediately! Meet Crosby, a very handsome boy who has movie good looks, an award-winning smile and an outstanding personality to match! This 11-month-old boy is eager to please and will do just about anything to win your affection. Crosby is very friendly to everyone he meets, does well with kids and is good with other dogs. Come meet this great boy today!

Our next Pet of the Week is calm, loving and affectionate. Meet Lassie, a 60 lb. cutie pie who has a kissable face, and would be perfectly content with a fluffy dog bed, a house to wander around in, and a human to look up to. This-four-year-old gal is shy initially, but once she knows she is safe, she warms up quickly. Lassie shares her kennel with an energetic pup who loves to shower her with kisses, but Lassie is very tolerant, doesn't mind the kisses and lets her friend bounce around happily. If you have a dog at home, we'd be happy to introduce them to Lassie.
