Seasonal & Holidays
LifeLine Animal Project Invites You to Keep the Black Friday Adoption Momentum Going with $25 Adoptions throughout December!
Also, meet our Pets of the Week: a stellar guy who is polite and stunning and an adorable boy who is sweet and cuddly.
Christmas came early for employees of LifeLine Animal Project, when a record number of homeless pets found their forever families over our Black Friday/Cyber Monday fee-waived weekend. The Atlanta community stepped up and adopted 374 LifeLine shelter animals!
This was a tremendous gift for LifeLine’s shelter animals, employees and volunteers, but unfortunately, we still have plenty of animals (hundreds in fact) who did not get adopted. So in the spirit of the holidays, LifeLine is seeking more happy endings and offering $25 adoptions on all dogs over 25 lbs. and all cats during our “Give Joy” promotion throughout December.
All of LifeLine’s shelters are participating in the Give Joy promotion, including: DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS), Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS), LifeLine’s Dog House & Kitty Motel and LifeLine’s Cat Adoption Center. The $25 adoption includes the pet’s spay/neuter, microchip and vaccines – a $300 value at no cost. To view animals available for adoption, for adoption rates, or for the shelters’ addresses and phone numbers, please visit www.dekalbanimalservices.com, www.fultonanimalservices.com or www.lifelineanimal.org.

Wrigley is a stunning three-year-old boy who smiles constantly and has an amazing disposition. He is a wonderful car rider who sits quietly and looks out the window. He came to an event with us and was immediately encircled by dozens of school kids, but he let them all pet him without getting nervous. He also sat patiently at the event while we spoke to people for several hours, and he had a tail wag and smile for everyone he met. Wrigley knows how to sit and lay down, is super smart and takes treats out of your hand very gently. He also gets along great with other dogs. When you meet Wrigley, you will wonder what in the world he is still doing in the shelter (we wonder the same thing). Come meet this handsome guy today!
Jekyll is a precious boy who wants nothing more than a home for the holidays! This super sweet, brindle, two-year-old guy has a kissable face and a loving disposition. Jekyll enjoys going for walks with volunteers, playing with other dogs, snuggling with a willing partner and laying on his bed. He would make a wonderful addition to any family.
Come meet Wrigley and Jekyll today by visiting them at 845 Camp Road in Decatur, emailing adoption@dekalbanimalservices.com or calling (404) 294-2165.
